Ranthambore National Park

Our Rajasthan volunteers can opt to visit Ranthambore National Park as a one or two night excursion.  Ranthambore is the state’s most well-known tiger reserve under Project Tiger. Volunteers will take part in escorted safaris with park rangers to look for tigers, sambar deer, cheetals, wild boar, leopards, sloth bears, jackals and hyenas.  The Park also contains crumbling temples and mosques, crocodile-filled lakes and the beautiful, 10th century Ranthambore Fort, all surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains.
